The first stand-alone Peppa Pig theme park opens on Thursday (February 24), close to Legoland Florida Resort.
Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida will have six rides including Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster (pictured below), Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride, Grandad Dog’s Pirate Boat Ride and Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure. There is also a maze at George’s Fort and nature trail.
The park will open as a Certified Autism Centre, along with accessibility features on the rides.
Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride has baskets that allow children who use wheelchairs to roll on without the need to transfer from their wheelchairs, and the Muddy Puddles Splash Pad has been specially graded for wheelchair use with several heights of water play.
Staff have received autism sensitivity and awareness training and the park has a ‘sensory guide’.
Tickets can be bought in the UK and Ireland through Do Something Different, and a one-day Peppa Pig Theme Park and Legoland Florida ticket starts from £99 per person.
