Protected Trust Services (PTS) is hosting a two-day cruise training event with suppliers to help members grow their businesses.
The two-day event, which kicked off in Southampton today (March 23), follows demand from members and is being supported by eight cruise lines, which are joining the event. In total 28 PTS members are at the training.
The first day is being held at The Southampton Harbour Hotel and the second day includes a VIP ship visit hosted by MSC on the line’s Virtuosa ship.
Emma Taylor, head of trade at PTS, said: “I have been an agent and worked for cruise lines, and I can fully appreciate the benefits of these days from both sides.
“Members want to learn and build relationships, and suppliers want to showcase and educate, which makes this event perfect.”
Princess Cruises, NCL, Fred Olsen Cruises, Ambassador Cruise Line, Holland America, Explora Journeys,Silversea Cruises and Virgin Voyages are attending the event, which includes presentations, business networking and dinner.
PTS said further cruise lines had expressed an interest in joining future events later in the year.
