Riviera Travel creates first trade-dedicated contact centre

Riviera Travel has created its first contact centre team dedicated to the trade.

Previously, the operator dealt with calls from agents and customers on the same phone line, but it now has a four-strong team which will exclusively handle agent enquiries and bookings.

The contact centre will operate from Riviera Travel’s head office in Burton-on-Trent and will be open from 9am-5.30pm Monday-Friday and 10am-4pm on Saturday.

Head of trade Tom Morgan (pictured) said: “Agents are central to the success of Riviera and our dedicated, trade-friendly team with help further strengthen communications.

“We want frontline agents to be able to build relationships with them and easily and effectively get in touch whenever they have a related question or booking enquiry.

“The team is aligned to our wider campaigns and initiatives and helps focus on messages such as our current trade only door-to-door promotion.

“We are absolutely committed to working alongside agents for the long term and this is another example of the partnership approach in action.”
