Sail Croatia reports surge of UK bookings for 2023 cruises

Sail Croatia has reported a 50% increase in UK booking numbers compared to 2019, as travellers secure sailings “earlier than ever before”.

The small ship operator said the increased demand has been seen across the majority of its itineraries and sailing options.

The largest spike in bookings has been for explorer cruises, the line’s sailings aimed at travellers in their 20s and 30s, with an increase of more than 130% compared to 2019, the operator added.

Bookings for elegance cruises, the line’s luxury sailings aimed at mature travellers, have seen a 44% increase, while cycling cruise bookings are up 35%.

The operator currently has a low deposit offer available, allowing passengers to secure a 2023 departure for £50.

Director Grant Seuren said: “We’ve seen fantastic interest from the UK for our 2023 cruises. There is clear pent-up demand from the past few years with travellers booking earlier than ever before to secure their preferred ships, deck level and itineraries.

“Our luxury and active sailings are proving particularly popular, and because we offer something for all age ranges and every personality, we anticipate this trend is only going to continue.”
