Shortlists unveiled for Globe Travel Awards special categories

The shortlists for three special categories at the 2025 Globe Travel Awards have been published with 12 companies in the running for the Sustainable Future, Employer of the Year and Travel for All Awards.

The shortlisted entries are assessed by panels of expert judges, with the best employer finalists also invited for interview. The winners will be announced at a spectacular ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House hotel on Thursday, January 16.

The sustainability and employer categories were introduced for the 2023 awards to reflect the growing importance of sustainability and staff wellbeing for the industry, while the Travel for All award was introduced last year to reflect those ensuring their product and service is truly inclusive.

Lucy Huxley, editor-in-chief of Travel Weekly Group, said: “We are grateful to the many travel industry suppliers who put themselves forward for these special awards, with the Sustainable Future category receiving an unprecedented number of entries and ensuring the shortlisting and judging process was incredibly taxing.

“We look forward to revealing the winners of these awards alongside the many categories decided by the thousands of votes cast by the agent readers of Travel Weekly.”
