Villa specialist Solmar Villa Holidays has launched its 2024 programme with a record number of properties across Europe and the Mediterranean.
The family-run company has more than 1,200 villas on offer next year in destinations such as Greece, Turkey, mainland Spain, the Canary and Balearic Islands, Portugal and Cyprus.
Julie Blake, managing director, said: “We have continued to grow our portfolio steadily with 600 new properties added since late 2022, many of which have been in new destinations such as the Amalfi coast, Kos, mainland Spain and mainland Greece.”
Furthermore, the company aims to more than double the number of villas on its books to about 2,500.
It also has plans to increase staffing both in the UK and in resorts beyond the current 100 employees.
“We’re always on the look-out for the next up and coming destinations and our customers are the heart of everything we do so despite continuing growth, our commitment to quality is unchanged,” Blake added.
“We know many families are feeling the pinch amidst the ongoing cost-of-living crisis which is why we’ve launched the 2024 programme with a special low deposit offer.
“We know money is tight at the moment, but we also know that families are desperate to make sure they can enjoy a family holiday.”
Solmar was created by Blake’s parents, John and Maria, in the 1980s after they bought their own villa and started to rent it out.
The company is based in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, and operates across Europe and the Mediterranean.
