The Travel Corporation brands expand solo tour offering

The Travel Corporation has expanded its solo traveller offering for its open-age brands – Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Luxury Gold and Costsaver – to cater for increasing demand.

Previously, solo options were on fewer than 10% of tours for Costsaver and Trafalgar, but now they will now be available on all ranges around the world for 2022 and 2023.

All single supplements across the board have been reduced and many are free.

Gavin Tollman, The Travel Corporation president, said: “We are excited to be able to offer this to solo travellers so they can get back doing what they love – seeing and experiencing the world, with the complete peace of mind they experience when travelling with our all-ages guided brands.

“Importantly, we are happy to also be supporting our agent partners in bringing new offerings to market which will help them sell more.”

Solo guests looking to share a room with a same-sex traveller also remains a popular choice for travellers and is available on most trips across Trafalgar, Insight Vacations and Costsaver.

The eight-day Best of Greece holiday departing on June 3 costs £1,795, and offers a free solo upgrade. Flights are not included.
