The Travel Network Group has restructured its senior team to “further strengthen support” to its members.
The shake-up has given Independent Travel Experts managing director Gary Gillespie a broader remit across the group.
Gillespie, who remains managing director of the homeworking division, has taken on the additional role of TTNG product and distribution director.
He will manage the group’s in-house Atol solutions, including its members’ Cruise Club and dynamic packaging platform Dynamic, formerly under the remit of retail director Julie Pinkney.
Gary Lewis, chief executive of The Travel Network Group, said: “Gary will use his experience in technology and tour operating to implement the automation of these services.”
Pinkney, who joined in January 2020, continues as retail director, overseeing the group’s owned stores.
The internal restructure also sees former ITE sales manager Kai-Yin Knapp promoted to sales director for the homeworking division.
