Agents praised as Club Med claims early booking record

Club Med has claimed record early bookings for next summer as families opt for all-inclusive holidays to mitigate the ongoing cost of living crisis.

The operator reported that trade bookings had more than trebled to account for almost a third of overall revenue.

The first day of sale of the summer 2025 programme last week saw the largest surge.

The school holiday months of July and August have attracted the most bookings with resorts in Greece, Turkey and Portugal among the most popular.

UK, Ireland & Nordics managing director Nicolas Bresch said: “Our record breaking summer 2025 sales opening showcases how Brits are planning and booking their summer holidays earlier than ever.

“Booking early and all-inclusive are sure fire ways to lock in the best deals, get value for money and mitigate the impacts of inflation and the rising costs of living, so it’s great to see customers taking advantage of our summer ’25 sales opening to do just that.”

He added: “The newly inaugurated Club Med Gregolimano (Greece) proved to be the most popular of the sales opening, alongside staple favourites Palmiye (Turkey) and Da Balaia (Portugal).

“We pride ourselves on our market leading family facilities and activities, so with bookings for the summer season peaking across the school holiday months of July and August, we look forward to welcoming many more families to Club Med next year to enjoy all that we have to offer.

“We must also take the time to celebrate this record achievement with both our sales and marketing teams, and our external travel trade partners, who remain central to our success.

“These results are a huge testament to their outstanding efforts, and we’re pleased to report a 354% increase in bookings from our travel agent partners compared to the same sale last year, accounting for 30% of the total revenue.”
