‘British Isles Festival’ planned for first Queen Anne UK and Ireland cruise

Cunard is to showcase the best of the UK and Ireland on new ship Queen Anne’s first domestic cruise.

A special ‘British Isles Festival’ will be staged on the maiden voyage around the British Isles from Southampton on May 24, 2024.

The 14-night sailing by the 3,00-passenger ship includes calls into Liverpool, Belfast, Cork, and Greenock.

The line plans to bring “preeminent performers” on board to provide an exclusive programme of British and Irish entertainment, together with expert guest speakers.

It follows Queen Anne’s seven-night first cruise on May 3 to La Coruna and Lisbon.

Queen Anne’s maiden season will see sailings from Southampton on itineraries to the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, Canary Islands and Norwegian fjords.

Cunard president Katie McAlister said: “Christmas has come early for travellers looking to celebrate the arrival of Queen Anne as we announce her British Isles Festival voyage, which will be a real celebration of our newest ship and showcase the very best of Great Britain and Ireland.

“Queen Anne’s maiden voyage around these shores will be a truly historic sailing and I know many of our loyal Cunarders will be eagerly awaiting what will be an iconic journey.”
