Youth operator Party Hard Travel opened 2021 summer bookings to Ibiza, Ayia Napa, Zante, Kavos, Malia, Malta, Sunny Beach and Magaluf.
This comes as research reveals that 85% of young people are willing to travel again this summer, with 87.8% looking forward to large outdoor events.
The poll of more than 700 young travellers found that 93.8% would still book a holiday if they had to take a Covid-19 test, either before departure or arrival at their destination.
The top destinations that survey respondents would feel comfortable travelling to this summer were Ibiza (82.2%), Zante (82.1%), Ayia Napa (77.6%), Kavos (72.2%) and Malia (70.3%).
Atol and financial protection was very or somewhat important for 94.3% of respondents with 93.7% preferring to book from an online company or in-store agent.
While only 34.7% believe people should have to have a vaccine in order to travel abroad, 91.9% would have the vaccine if they couldn’t travel without it.
Events are key to the Party Hard Travel experience, with modifications made for 2021 to make events Covid-secure.
Ellie Sax will be performing at Champagne Sessions in Zante, Malia, Kavos and Malta in 2021. The company adapted to coronavirus restrictions in places at the time last year, with a focus on VIP events and table service.
The May announcement from transport secretary Grant Shapps put Spain, Malta and Greece on the amber list, requiring travellers to quarantine for 10 days, taking a pre-departure test and a PCR covid-19 test on day two and day eight with an optional test on day five to end quarantine early.
Those travelling to green list countries will need to take a PCR test but will not have to self-isolate on their return. The green list is set to be reviewed this week.
