Santa’s Lapland resumes trips for first time in two years

Operator Santa’s Lapland has resumed trips for the first time in almost two years.

A Santa’s Lapland-branded aircraft, the first of its kind, was deployed as the company returned after tours to Saariselka in northern Finland were cancelled as the pandemic hit.

The company is discounting last-minute deals for three and four-day breaks for families of four with departures from December 7 to 23 from Stansted and a range of regional airports.

A spokesperson for the Hotelplan brand said: “While Santa will be socially distanced, Santa’s Lapland do not anticipate him to be wearing a face covering, so visitors can get the iconic photo and quality time with Santa that they’ve dreamed of.”
