Advantage agrees deal with events and hospitality association Beam

Events and hospitality association Beam has forged a partnership with Advantage Travel Partnership.

The agreements will enable member of the association formerly known as HBAA to access Advantage’s global accommodation programme content.

At the same time, Advantage business travel members can utilise Beam’s code of practice for meetings and events, providing business guidance.

Alongside other Beam members, Advantage has committed to a review panel of the association’s code to ensure its relevance within a changed marketplace.

Bean board director Des Mclaughlin said: “We are committed to helping our members and the association itself to access the key services and information that they need to run their businesses successfully today.

“Our strategy is to form partnerships with leading specialists within the sector.”

Advantage business development manager Andy Boorman added: “There are so many mutual benefits to our partnership, including driving the industry agenda together as established and recognised industry membership organisations.”
