Constant Travel Group to recruit homeworkers as part of expansion

The Constant Travel Group is eyeing further growth with the expansion of its homeworking division, called Personal Holiday Advisors (PHA).

Mary Mulkeen has joined the Hays Travel Independence Group member as general manager, bringing with her experience in the UK and Australia.

She has worked as a shop manager for Lunn Poly and Thomas Cook, and various roles during a 19-year stint with First Choice and Tui including regional manager.

Mulkeen has also been retail operations manager with Austravel and has worked with Helloworld Travel Group in Australia, creating tailor-made itineraries around Europe and the UK.

Returning from Australia, she worked as retail operations manager for the RSPCA before moving to Leeds-based Constant Travel Group.

Mulkeen said: “We encourage more talented travel individuals to join us, enabling them to achieve their perfect home/work life balance by managing their own business to suit family and personal needs.

“We are looking to expand our recruitment from all travel sectors, including leisure and business travel to ensure that we have the knowledge and experience to suit the needs of our clients.

“Personal Holiday Advisors have been operating since 2018 with an organic approach to growth.

“Now, with an established group of homeworkers in the company, we have re-focused our efforts and have put in place a structure to allow us to bring on more candidates to meet the growing demands of our business.”

She said key USPs include no set-up fees, a free laptop and instant payments on commission of up 80%.

The group currently has 30 staff, including 20 homeworkers.
