Inspire Travel is appealing to staff and business partners to get behind a family charity’s summer fundraising efforts.
The Cheshire-based operator and agent is backing Family Fund, a UK charity providing grants for families raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people.
Family Fund provided a record of more than 110,000 grants last year to families in need of help and it continues to see thousands of families applying for support each month.
Participants have to complete 100ks throughout July by running, walking, cycling, skating, swimming, scootering, horse riding or a combination of them all.
Inspire Travel managing director Lisa Henning said: “We have a very close working relationship with Family Fund as their trusted travel and holidays provider, and we are always keen to help them in any way that we can.
“As we all know, the last 15 months has taken its toll on many sectors of business and charities, in particular, have suffered more than most. We are therefore keen to encourage our team at Inspire and all our travel business partners to get behind this campaign. It would be great to also achieve wider-trade support for what is a great cause.
“We know it’s tough for everyone in travel at the moment, but all donations will be much appreciated, however small. At Inspire we will be using the 100Ks of Summer campaign to carry out some fun team building activities to raise funds.”
