InteleTravel UK agent numbers top 13,400 as sales ‘soar’

Homeworking agency InteleTravel has seen its number of UK agents rise by 17% in the past four months to a total of 13,404 advisors.

The company said this increase is thanks to heightened awareness of the InteleTravel brand in the UK, as well as the low entry costs, training, events with preferred partners and back-office support.

Furthermore, the agency said sales have “soared” as bookings have increased by 51% year on year the first quarter of 2023. It noted how customers are booking early “in advance of expected holiday price rises”.

InteleTravel has also signed up five more preferred partners, bringing its total number to 76.

News of the expansion follows the launch of InteleTravel in Ireland, where agent numbers now total about 200 agents.

Tricia Handley-Hughes, UK managing director, said: “InteleTravel remains an attractive option for people who want to join our dynamic industry and there are plenty of potential agents who want to dip their toe in the water in the early stages, without too much financial burden.

“This is how many of our most successful agents have progressed into building a credible business earning excellent commissions.

“It’s early days for 2023, but our current monthly bookings trend puts us on target for record results.

“Since launching our first Strategic Partner Programme in early 2023 focussing on product and performance, our partners are already reporting positive results.

“We put a huge emphasis on training for agents to ensure they can maximise their potential.

“Our entire annual calendar of events is virtually complete, including boot camps, webinars, weekly podcasts, themed new in-person events and a range of consumer activities.”
