Ambassador Cruise Line has appointed Louise Tansey as divisional sales manager as the line continues to grow its commercial team.
Tansey will join Ambassador on February 1 and will be responsible for the line’s key accounts, reporting into head of distribution Nicola Harper.
Tansey has worked in the travel industry for 37 years in several different roles. Her most recent position was at the Scenic Group, where she was sales manager.

She started her career at an independent agency before moving to Bourne Leisure, where she held business development and national sales positions for more than 14 years.
Following her time at Bourne Leisure she was appointed sales manager at Vertical Travel Group.
Announcing the appointment, Harper said: “Louise is a well-known and respected individual in the travel industry and brings with her considerable trade sales experience.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming Louise to the team as Ambassador continues to drive day-to-day trading and enhance third party relationships.”
Tansey said: “I’m really excited to be joining the Ambassador trade team. The business has so many exciting opportunities for agents and trade partners in the pipeline – I can’t wait to share these with them and help them to fulfil their full potential promoting the UK’s leading premium value cruise line.”
In November 2022, Ambassador separated out its groups and trade departments into two teams following a structure review.
The line said the head count in the trade team would double as a result of the review.
It added that it would be announcing further distribution team recruitment news “in due course”.
