Cruise specialist agency The Travel Village Group is to stage its 2022 annual conference on board an MSC Cruises ship.
The event will be held on MSC Magnifica for three nights from Southampton next May, owners Paula and Phil Nuttall confirmed.
Paula’s Holiday Village is approaching 100 travel experts alongside Phil’s Travel Village, ocean and river cruising businesses, as they continue to grow and build strong relationships with the trade.
The couple said: “We are so excited to be able to bring our team some good news on the anniversary of lockdown and fresh on the back of the news that cruise holidays will restart in 2021.
“We believe this sends out a strong message that travel will bounce back but most importantly, our family business trusts and supports the cruise industry and that it is an extremely safe way to travel.”
Paula said “Our team are incredible people and we wanted to reward them with three nights on board MSC Magnifica and the chance to combine business with pleasure.”
Phil added: “MSC Cruises offers an incredible range of ships, destinations and turnaround ports and I know the whole group will get something out of the conference.”
The line’s UK and Ireland sales director Steve Williams said: ”We are so thrilled that Phil and Paula have decided to host their annual Travel/Holiday Village conference on board MSC Magnifica next year.
“I cannot wait for the entire team to join us and experience the wonderful on board hospitality and see our brand new terminal in Southampton which will showcase the investment we are making into the UK cruise market.
“We will have launched a further two ships by next spring, we will be on the verge of launching MSC World Europa and our brand new ultra luxury brand, so we will have so much to share with the entire team on board.
“I cannot think of a greater reward for Phil’s team after enduring such a tough year through 2020-2021 and am personally thrilled in the commitment Phil and Paula are showing to the UK cruise sector and in particular for choosing MSC Cruises as the main supplier to host their conference.”
