Two homeworkers from The Personal Travel Consultants in Partnership with Blue Bay Travel have exceeded £1 million of sales in 2024.
Lynne Walton (left) became the first PTC to reach the £1 million milestone in April, followed closely by Nicola Szymanowski in May.
Walton reached the £1 million mark through her own database of leads and managed to match last year’s annual sales total within the first four months of this year.

She has more than 25 years of expertise and specialises in Turkey and Europe.
“I particularly value the collaborative environment and the exceptional training in social marketing combined with the exclusive supplier offers, which are instrumental in driving my sales,” she said.
“During testing times, having the reassurance of that back-office team to repatriate customers and provide support at any hour of the night, is priceless.
“The travel sector has faced some serious setbacks over the last few years including Covid, air strikes and hurricanes.”
She joined forces with fellow PTC Nicola Szymanowski when Walton said she was delivering more leads than she could convert.
Szymanowski begain in travel 1999 with call centre sales roles followed by a stint at Radisson, before stepping out of the travel industry for a period before becoming a PTC.
“My vision was to be part of an organisation that practises kindness and values its people — a vision I genuinely feel I’ve realised working as part of the PTCs,” she said.
Abbie Heaton, group manager for The Personal Travel Consultants in Partnership with Blue Bay Travel, said: “We’re thrilled to celebrate Lynne and Nicola reaching £1 million in sales so early into the year.
“We wouldn’t normally expect to see the £1 million milestone being exceeded by any of our PTCs until much later in the year so achieving this only four-five months into the year is exceptional, particularly as Lynne has only been back in the business for two years.
“They are a bit of a dynamic duo, having found a brilliant way to marry their skill sets to achieve maximum individual success and it’s paying off in spades.”
