The Explore India Millennium year has been extended. Due to end in March 31 this year, it will now run until January 1 next year. More activities are planned such as the Khajuraho Film Festival in Delhi from August 10-14 and the Khajuraho Poetry Festival at the Khajuraho from October 13-15.

The Indian government has dropped visa charges for people of Indian origin who want to travel to the country. The move is part of the government’s drive to attract UK residents of Indian origin to visit the country.
