STYLE Holidays has introduced Cyprus in its new summer 2000 villas-with-pools programme in a move which will increase capacity by 40% to 30,000.
The specialist has included villas in Paphos, Coral Bay, Latchi, Polis and Peyia.
Marketing manager John Hayes said Cyprus is set to become a big villa destination.
“We launched a dedicated Cyprus brochure late last year and although sales were slow to take off, it is now performing well,” he said. “Many villas are being built and we will look to expand the number.”
The programme also includes product in the Algarve, Majorca, Minorca, Ibiza and Costa Blanca.
Although many of the villas have already been featured in the dedicated Cyprus and Portugal brochures, Hayes said an additional 100 villas have been contracted.
Around half of the featured villas are in the Algarve although Hayes admitted contracting is becoming difficult.
“Fortunately we are well established and have built up relationships with villa owners,” he said.
Thomas Cook-owned Style has expanded its number of departure airports to 14 for 2000.
Flights have been added from Leeds/Bradford, Luton and Humberside to Faro with services to Mahon also introduced from Leeds Bradford.
Prices lead in at £209 per person for seven nights based on eight adults sharing a four bedroom villa on the Costa Blanca. Child prices start from £99.
