London developments to cater for business and budget sectors

Two new hotels have opened in London, one catering for the business traveller and the other for the budget end of the market.

The 203-room Novotel London Tower Bridge is the first of six new hotels the Accor group is planning to open in London over the next two years.

The property is situated in the heart of the city, 15 minutes by train from Docklands and 10 minutes by car from London City Airport. Rooms cost from £139 to £159 per night.

The 70-room Comfort Inn Notting Hill, which was formerly the Hillgate Hotel, has reopened following a major renovation.

It is situated by Notting Hill Gate underground station, close to the area’s shops, restaurants and bars.

Parent company Choice Hotels Europe is planning to open another property, the new-build Comfort Inn Vauxhallin November, which will bring the number of Comfort-branded hotels in the capitalto 11.
