New categories reflect changing nature of trade
SCOTTISH Passenger Agents’ Association council member Jamie Mofat believes theever-changing nature of the travel business have been reflected in this year’s voting categories.
On this occasion, members have been able to vote for the best long-haul operator and the best overall airline.
These categories replace the best european operator, and best scheduled european airline.
Mofat, managing director of ATM Travel, said: “The changes in the categories reflect the continuing, changing, nature of the business and the way the industry works.”
Mofat also ensured the awards evening would be a night to remember.
“There have been significant improvements in the speaker system and in the lighting.
“There will also be more screens so people will be able to see what is going on. It really is going to be a great evening,” he said.
