Cruiselines revise Middle East sailings

CRUISE firms are being forced to redirect Middle East sailings due to the violence in Israel.

Cyprus-based Louis Cruise Line, a main Holy Land operator, has revised its itineraries to avoid Israeli destinations.

Clients have been given a choice of a two or three-night cruise on the Princesa Victoria until the end of the month.

They can choose a cruise from Limassol to Port Said in Egypt or Limassol to Rhodes or combine Limassol with Alexandria and Port Said.

Louis Cruise Line is planning to reassess the situation at the end of the month.

Norwegian Cruise Line has altered this week’s calls of the Norwegian Dream to Ashdod and Haifa in Israel.

They have been replaced with Mykonos, Greece and Larnaca, Cyprus.

Royal Caribbean has also replaced Legend of The Seas’ calls at Haifa and Ashdod in Israel and Jordan for Santorini in Greece and Kusadasiin Turkey, operating next month.
