Euclidian aims to double its agent portfolio
EUCLIDIAN Risk Management is seeking to double the number of agents who signed up to sell its travel insurance in its first year as a member of the Truly Independent Professional Travel Organisation.
Director Steve King would not discuss figures for commercial reasons but said he was happy with the number of agents who signed up last year, as a result of its activity within TIPTO.
“Many agents were already committed to insurance deals before TIPTO came into existence last September, so we couldn’t expect them to change insurance provider,” said King.
“But enough did switch to make it worthwhile for us to be a member,” he added. “TIPTO has now become firmly established in the minds of independents and we can build on that.
“We want to support agents and this is an ideal opportunity to show we are committed.”
King said Euclidian has been involved in the latest round of TIPTO roadshows. He is also working on a new policy, for launch by the end of the year, which will include incentives for TIPTO agents.
“They will be product and price incentives but nothing has been finalised yet,” he added.
