CAA revokes ATOL licences

Report by John Lavabre

THE Civil Aviation Authority has revoked two Air Travel
Organisers Licences claiming the companies involved have insufficient finance.

The affected companies are Warrington-based Sun Modilex
which operated holidays to Cuba, and west London-based
Blue Sky
Holidays, which operated holidays to Cyprus.

The CAA is advising people who have booked with Sun Modilex
not to travel to their departure airport. They can claim a refund by contacting
the ATOL Bond Administration Team on 020 7453 6350.Customers who had booked with
Blue Sky should already have received a refund. Anyone who has not should contact
the CAA on 020 7453 6361.
