QANTAS Airways is to launch a domestic service in New
Zealand.
The airline is to fly ten times a day between Auckland and
Wellington and will also make eight round trips a day between Auckland and
Christchurch.
Qantas chief executive officer Geoff Dixon said the service
could start as soon as June 1.
Qantas has been operating a temporary service between
various destinations in New Zealand following the collapse of Qantas franchise Tasman
Pacific Airlines, which went into receivership last month.
