THE FOREIGN and Commonwealth Office is advising against all
travel to Nepal.
A curfew has been put in place in Kathmandu Valley and
police are not allowing any traffic in or out of Kathmandu, including tourist
buses. Flights to Nepal have also been disrupted.
Following the death and funerals of many members of the
royal family, violent demonstrations have occurred. Initially these took place
in Kathmandu but unrest has now spread to other areas.
