PRICELINE Europe
has signed a deal to supply Internet portal Excite.co.uk with its Name Your Own
Price technology.
Under the terms of the deal, Pricline’s accommodation and car hire service will
be available to Excite’s users from its travel pages,
www.excite.co.uk/travel.
In addition, users wanting to buy flights will be directed to the Priceline
website from a link on Excite’s flights page.
Priceline’s Name Your Own Price technology allows a consumer to make an offer for
an airline ticket, car hire or accommodation. Once the offer is received, it is
up to
the supplier to decide whether to accept the price.
