P&O PRINCESS Cruises has revealed details of Star
Princess’s maiden voyage.
The ship, which comes into service in February 2002, will go
on a one-off 26-day cruise of the Pacific Rim from Singapore to Los Angeles.
Along the way it will call in at Bangkok, Hong Kong, Taiwan,
Japan, and Hawaii. The lead-in price for the cruise is £2,900 including flights
to Singapore and returning from Los Angeles.
On arrival in Los Angeles, Star Princess will operate a schedule
of seven-night cruises to Mexico.
The ship will have the capacity to carry 2,600 passengers
and feature a 15,000 square foot spa area.
