CONCORDE may get clearance to resume commercial flights next
month, it has been revealed.
The decision comes following a meeting of the Anglo-French
Concorde Working Group.
A spokeswoman for the Department of Transport, which is part
of the working group, said: “A statement from the working group is about to be
published and it is likely Concorde will get an air worthiness directive.”
Each of the aircraft will be individually issued with an
airworthiness certificate as soon as essential safety modifications have been
completed.
British Airways declined to comment.
