Style Holidays signs racking deal with ARTAC

STYLE Holidays has signed an overbrand deal with ARTAC in a move that will guarantee the racking of its brochures throughout the Worldchoice network.

The move comes after the operator signed an overbrand deal with parent company Thomas Cook, alliance partners of ARTAC. Marketing manager John Hayes said the Thomas Cook name will add weight to the product and help improve sales through the chain while the Worldchoice brand will give it widespread coverage in the independent sector.

Despite being owned by Thomas Cook, Hayes said not all shops in the chain racked Style brochures.

“Each shop only gets so many facings but this overbrand deal will mean all shops will rack us,” he said.

“I think this will result in an upturn in sales.”

The deal coincides with the launch of the operator’s new Caribbean programme which includes the Bahamas for the first time.

Nassau, Freeport and Grand Bahama feature along with the existing destinations of Antigua, Barbados, Grenada, St Lucia, St Kitts and Tobago.

Bahama prices lead in at £919 for 14 nights, room only, at the Lucayan on Grand Bahama.
