SWAN
Hellenic has bucked the trend of other cruise companies by not altering any of
its cruise itineraries for the coming year.
The
ship, Minerva, which called at Syria and Lebanon during the week after
September 11, is sticking to its destination led worldwide itineraries,
including the Middle East and eastern Mediterranean.
Swan
Hellenic Head of planning and operations Charles Panton said: “The main
selling point of Swan Hellenic is the destinations and people are aware of the
places they want to go when they book.”
He
said despite the September 11 attacks and the strikes in Afghanistan customers
still want to travel.
He added: “There has not been a drop in bookings
because customers feel comfortable and safe booking the itineraries we
offer.”
