PACKAGE holiday pioneer Erna Low passed away today at the
age of 92.
Low, who had a career spanning almost 70 years, died
following a stroke.
Low’s career started in 1932 when she offered skiers a
fortnight in her native Austria for £15 as a way of getting back to see her parents.
She went on to offer holidays in Corsica, Spain and the Adriatic and the Erna
Low brand went on to become recognised as a leading spa holiday specialist.
