Hoseasons strengthens parks and lodges offers

HOSEASONS has significantly expanded its Holiday Parks and Lodges programme, adding packages to Ireland for the first time and more holiday parks in the UK.

Altogether the operator has more than 300 holiday parks and lodges in this year’s programme – including 53 new locations – and more than 8,000 properties.

Marketing director Tim Fullam said the operator’s decision to expand into new areas, including Ireland, was in response to customer demand.

“We managed to secure some high-quality accommodation in Ireland that suited our portfolio and forward bookings suggest this has been a good move,” he said. “Politically speaking, now is a good time to go into Ireland and demand for the destination is very high.”

Hoseasons is featuring ferry-inclusive holidays to 18 coastal locations. Accommodation ranges from cottages to apartments and prices start at £341 for a week in a two-bedroom apartment, sleeping up to five people, at the Trabolgan Holiday Village in County Cork.

New parks in the UK include the Solway Holiday Village in Cumbria, which is aimed at the family market. Attractions include an indoor fun pool, ten-pin bowling and a Red Deer farm. Solway offers a choice of one, two and three-bedroom accommodation. Prices in the new three-bedroom Orlando unit, which sleeps up to six, start at £130 a week.

For those looking for a quieter break, Hoseasons has added Kingslake in Devon which is set on a country estate where activities include free fishing lessons and walking. There is also a children’s play area. Accommodation is in lakeside lodges or cottages. A three-bedroom cottage sleeping up to six starts at £325 a week.
