US AIRWAYS is to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection
so that it can go through a restructure and return to profitability.
The airline has negotiated more than $1 billion dollars of new
financing and hopes to produce a restructure plan by the end of the year.
The carrier said any restructure will not affect its
services.
