SANDALS is to bus thousands of UK agents
to this year’s World Travel Market in an unprecedented move to launch a
training programme for 2003.
Directors
are to be flown over to WTM, where Sandals has booked half of the upstairs area
at the ExCel convention centre for training sessions in addition to its usual
stand on the ground floor.
A
total of 3,000 UK agents were trained under the Sandals and Beaches Training
Academy last year but the plan is to build on that number this year.
Agents will get free entrance and transport to WTM and
receive training on key areas such as weddings, honeymoons and water sports
programmes.
