THE future of start-up airline FreshAer is shrouded in
mystery after it refunded customers and one of its major financial backers
withdrew support.
The carrier was to begin services in October to
Birmingham, Manchester and Stansted from Dublin but has been forced to hand
back money to nearly 1,500 customers because it did not have the correct
licences to sell tickets.
In a further blow, financial backer John Lepp has
withdrawn support after reports emerged he is disqualified from holding directorships
in the UK.
