Industry pays respects to Flowers

A
FUNERAL is being held tomorrow (Thursday) for Thomas Cook head of trade
relations for distribution Roger Flowers, who died last week from cancer.

Flowers,
41, who had worked for Thomas Cook for 23 years, leaves a wife and a
two-year-old son.

He
joined Thomas Cook from Franes travel agency chain, which was bought by Thomas
Cook, and held a number of different positions until he was promoted to his current
job earlier this year.

Director
of trade relations Ian Derbyshire said: “Everyone had the utmost respect
for Roger and the values he stood for.”

Friends and colleagues are invited to attend the
funeral at the Peterborough Crematorium at 1pm. Donations, not flowers, should
go to the Kettering Hospice. For details contact Thomas Cook trade relations
team on 01733 417102.
