Profit boost for Worldchoice

WORLDCHOICE has posted a pre-tax profit of £146,000
for the year ending December 31 2003.

The consortium, which has turned around the £148,000
pre-tax loss of 2002, also reported full year sales of £17.5 million.

Chairman Colin Heal said: “This must rank as a major
achievement in such a difficult year.”

Heal along with commercial director Keith Wilson and
Luton-based Double S Travel owner Steve Pattenden are currently competing for
two board positions in the Worldchoice elections.

Ballot papers have been sent out, with results to be
announced at the annual general meeting on June 24, when a 5.1p per share
dividend is also due for approval.

Meanwhile, 100 agents have
registered for next year’s conference in Disneyland Resort Paris after Eurostar
offered 300 free seats.
