WEST Country miniple Lets Go Travel is recruiting 20 new agents for what it claims will be a “first of its kind” retail concept.
The agency plans to open a new shop in Bristol only selling product departing from Bristol International Airport. Under the name Bristol Airport Direct, a soft opening is planned before Christmas with a formal opening next year. Similar shops will follow.
“Agents will need to know exactly which carriers operate from Bristol and how to give the customer what they need,” said managing director Simon Maunder.
Agents with dynamic packaging expertise and package holiday sales experience will be sought to mirror the airport’s business.
“A huge capacity out of the airport is EasyJet, so the shop will offer a lot of dynamic packaging,” added Maunder.
The move follows the miniple’s introduction of airport-specific brochures.
