Flexibletrips moves to mini-brochures – 16 Nov 2006

Flexibletrips is planning to save 87 tonnes of paper a year by switching from traditional brochures to mini-guides.


Head of sales at the dynamic packaging specialists Stephen Vaughan said the new mini-brochures will be released at quarterly intervals during the year and focus on specific breaks, including Christmas shopping, spa holidays and ski.


He added agents will also be able to create, download and print off their own custom-made brochures for clients while more information will be available for agents at www.flexibletrips.com/trade.


Vaughan said: “Far from simply being a cost cutting exercise, the resources saved will be used to create exciting new joint marketing initiatives with agents. In such a fast moving market producing a year round brochure is no longer practical and makes no economical or environmental sense.”
