Climate change protest groups say they will go ahead with planned disruption at Heathrow on August 19 regardless of the injunction being sought by BAA in the High Court.
Campaign umbrella group Camp for Climate Action, said it expects between 1,000 and 2,000 people to take some form of direct action in August.
BAA received widespread criticism for attempting to halt the action with a High Court injunction. However, the Authority said it would allow legitimate protest but wanted to protect passengers from disruption caused by direct action.
An ABTA spokeswoman said the association was keeping a close eye on events and would advise agents on what to tell concerned clients nearer the time.
The High Court was due to rule on the injunction as Travel Weekly went to press.
