Virgin Atlantic will open fast-track check-in and an security channel exclusively for premium passengers at Heathrow on November 2.
It promises to speed passengers from limousine to lounge through its new Upper Class Wing at Terminal 3 in 10 minutes.
Business-class passengers choosing not to use Virgin’s limousine service ill access the wing via a private lift from the carrier’s Upper Class check-in.
The airline plans an advertising campaign with the slogan “limo to lounge in 10 minutes” from next week.
Chief executive Steve Ridgway said: “Business travellers have had a pretty torrid time getting through Heathrow, but we believe this is unique. At last, they can speed through Terminal 3 in minutes.”
Virgin Atlantic will also unveil a revamped check-in area for economy and premium economy passengers in December, promising banks of self-service machines and bag-drop desks.
