XL Holidays has launched its Caribbean 2008 programme with the introduction of St Lucia, taking the number of islands on offer to six.
Sales and marketing director Bob Taylor said eight properties were initially being featured on the island although it is expected that more will be added depending on demand. He added: “We included St Lucia to attract a more exclusive market.”
Prices lead in at £497 for seven nights’ room-only at the St Lucian by Rex Resorts and includes return flights from Gatwick.
The brochure is being launched in conjunction with the operator’s core Mediterranean 2008 Summer Sun programme, which features 200 properties. It is hoped the two brochures will double the amount of business taken through the trade.
