A tour operator group launching its latest Greece programme hopes to forge closer trade ties.
Visions Holiday Group director Robert Atkins said the group owns Islands of Greece, Southern and Eastern Africa specialist Visions of Africa and Ilios Travel, which supplies upmarket houses in Italy, Turkey, Spain and Portugal.
As Islands of Greece launches its summer 2008 programme, complete with about 10% more properties in Skiathos, Alonissos, Skopelos, Mykonos, Santorini and Crete, Atkins is looking to strike up new commercial arrangements with the trade.
He added: “About 90% of our business is direct-sell, but there’s a large number of agents out there who we aren’t using.
“If an agent wants to do business with us then, providing we can agree a commission level, I would be happy to do so.”
Prices lead in at £438 for seven nights’ self-catering at the Harbour View Waterfront Apartment in Skiathos, including flights and transfers.
