The Pacific Asia Travel Association’s Travel Mart 2000 is to be held between April 11 and 14. Some 350 exhibitors from 40 countries and 350 buyers are expected to attend the event at the Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Business consortium TourEast London has published a an Events List and Visitor Guide for 2000. The group is hoping to cash in on the popularity of east London following the opening of the Millennium Dome and the Tate Gallery of Modern Art atBankside. It also plans to launch a Web site this month.
