Click With Technology targets cruise agents

Technology company Click With Technology is rolling out online booking technology specificially geared for travel agents in the cruise sector.

The company – which built’s website – is already in talks with several other large cruise retailers to provide them with online bookable sites.

Head of sales Mark Hopper said the number of cruises booked online was likely to increase dramatically in the next two to three years and that agents were already gearing up for the change by making their sites bookable.

“We have a lot of big cruise agents knocking at our door but this is for agent selling cruise. The repeat bookers are more likely to book online,” he added.

The company has been given a licence to use Amadeus’ booking engine with its own front-end solution. It offers online bookability with 15 different cruiselines.

By the end of the year it is hoped the technology with be developed further with the addition of flight product, so that cruises and flights can be booked together.
