THE chairman of the Truly Independent Professional Travel Organisation has hit back at accusations its on-the-road rep team are not fit to do the job.
Warren Sandral insisted they are being well received by both member operators and agents.
“A lot of time and effort has gone into training the reps,” he said. “It is not right to say they are not properly trained.”
The criticisms followed TIPTO’s hiring of an external team to conduct training with agents. Sources claim they have not got sufficient knowledge of the product they are trying to promote.
