Palladium Hotels & Resorts is rebranding its adults-only Royal Suites by Palladium resorts in the Dominican Republic and Mexico to TRS Hotels.
The rebrand includes revamped properties as well as an updated marketing campaign and logo.
TRS Hotels will become independent of Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts, including a new resort opening at Costa Mujeres, north of Cancun, in autumn 2018.
Swim-up rooms, dinner-and-a-show-themed restaurants and beach clubs will highlight the new concept.
Specially trained staff numbers are also being increased to reflect the upscale experience, according to the company.
TRS Yucatan in Riviera Maya will be upgraded between July 1 until November 15, including renovated rooms, swim-up rooms, additional a la carte restaurants and a new infinity pool.
TRS Turquesa in Punta Cana will also be undergoing changes with the addition of a beach club, which is due to open by December 1.
TRS Yucatan and TRS Turquesa will begin their rebranding online in July with a new logo.
Palladium Hotel Group UK, France and Scandinavia commercial director, Nacho Gozalbo, said: “As the adults-only market in the Caribbean and Mexico continues to grow and expand, Palladium Hotels & Resorts looks to differentiate itself by evolving its adults-only brand, TRS Hotels.”
